PLA (Poly Lactic Acid)

is 100% derived from annual renewable resource by NatureWorks LLC. a global-scale operation in Blair, Nebraska, USA. Its proprietary process for manufacturing PLA centers on the fermentation, distillation and polymerization of a simple plant sugar, corn dextrose. The company essentially harvests the carbon stored in the sugar of corn in order to make PLA today.

PLA is made from Annual Renewable resources, it significantly reduce burden and impact to the environment.
Reduce CO2 emission
100% Biodegradable & Compostable
High clarity and glossy
Strong & Durable
Superior flavor & aroma barrier
Mature supply & cost competitive to PET
New Definiation of "Enviromental-Friendly"!!

A lot of people said PET is enviromental friendly, in 21th centry, the principle is redefined by the rising awareness of PLA

Making PLA requires 30% to 50% less fossil fuel than polymers synthesized from hydrocarbons, and it thus reduces carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.

Enviromental Responsibility

Over decades of effort, plastic recycling rate is still under 30% in USA.
The growth of petroleum volume is slower than our time, and will not last forever, the excellent sustainability of PLA meets the needs of today without compromising the earth's ability to meet the needs of tomorrow.
